Going through the two years of Awaken and then Journey blessed my life tremendously - like I never would have anticipated. Words to describe these retreats: an awakening, discovery, healing, spiritual growth, intimacy with God. I laughed, I cried, was challenged, grew in wisdom, grew more in understanding of myself, of God’s deep love for me as well as His love for the world. I believe, these retreats would benefit all who come and give themselves to it. As I drew near to the Lord, He drew near to me – just as He promised in His Word.

Deep, rich and transformative are words I would use to describe my experience with the Way Home Ministries. I learned so much about how to better position myself through the use of spiritual disciplines. Now, I can truly encounter the presence of my King and more often can hear His whispers to me. The past 2 years have definitely been a “Journey” to “Awaken” my soul to the calling and love of my Savior. So much to learn about the basics of my faith life even after living decades of a Christian walk. But so much more to experience as my soul awakened to the One who loves me and just wants me to walk this life in close communion with Him.
